Jimmy Reed was recently presented with a Paul Harris Fellow award for his involvement in keeping good cheer and enjoyment in the lives of Bath Sunrise Rotarians!
Kathy and Bob Gravino visited with Jimmy Reed in Wiscasset recently to present him with a Paul Harris Fellow award for his involvement in keeping good cheer and enjoyment in the lives of Bath Sunrise Rotarians. Jimmy is an Honorary member of Bath Sunrise, and until his medical condition deteriorated a few years ago, he attended Sunrise activities, presented original artwork to club members, and never forgot a member's birthday, sending handmade birthday cards. Jimmy is the brother of former Sunrise Rotarian Bob Reed, who is assisting the Damariscotta-Newcastle Rotary Club as they organize their new satellite club.
Jimmy still calls on a weekly basis those Rotarian who he knew while he was more active in the club. A phone call from Jimmy is very special, and brightens the day of those receiving the calls.
